Yana Bondar is a photographer. She was born in the city of Baranovichi, Brest region, Belarus in 1993. Currently she lives in Minsk.
2015 — Belarusian National Technical University with a degree in Technical Security.
2020 — European College of Liberal Arts in Belarus with the specialty in Gender Studies.
2020 — course “Book of the Family”, VEHA.
2022 — Fotografika Academy of Documentary Photography and Photojournalism in St. Petersburg, Russia.
2022 — art residency in Armenia in Cultural and Social Narratives Laboratory.
2023 — exhibition Rotterdam Photo 2023.
An important part of her work is environmental topics, the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the topic of the Holocaust after World War II, corporality (physicalness), family.
She has publications in Ecoidea web portal, “F-stop magazine”, UNDP.
